Welcome to Radfield

With Season #3, the portal to a new, dark world opens: Welcome to Radfield! Once, there was a village celebrated as a stronghold of progress. But their insatiable hunger for energy and advancement became their downfall. A devastating nuclear catastrophe (the remaining inhabitants prefer to keep the details a secret) turned Radiant Grove into a desolate, irradiated ghost town.

Where bustling life once thrived and villagers filled the streets, mutated monsters now lurk in the radioactive fog. The roads have crumbled, the houses bear the marks of time – yet beneath the ruins lies a valuable resource: Uranium. While Radfield may seem like a lost city to many, for you, it holds incredible opportunities. With uranium and nuclear energy, you can take your cactus production to a whole new level – more efficient, faster, and (hopefully) without explosions!

New machines

This season introduces six brand-new machines that will revolutionize your entire cactus production and unlock new gameplay possibilities!

Cactus-Collector

The Cactus Collector is now a standard feature on your island, automatically absorbing cacti from your farm. These can then be transferred to your cactus storage via a pipe as usual. The big advantage is the brand-new Booster for the Cactus Collector. For the first time, you can actively boost your cactus farm, allowing you to fill your storage a little faster - right from the start of the game!

Coal Power Plant

The Cactus Factory no longer requires coal - it now runs entirely on energy. To generate this energy, a new machine has been introduced: the Coal Power Plant. Placed between the coal storage and the Cactus Factory, the Furnace converts coal into usable energy. The higher its level, the more energy it produces, allowing your factory to operate even faster. Of course, like all other machines, the Furnace can be upgraded and boosted to further optimize your production!

Nuclear Energy

With the arrival of our new world, Radfield, a game-changing addition awaits: the Nuclear Power Plant. Fueled by uranium, this powerful facility generates massive amounts of energy, revolutionizing your production capabilities. To support this advanced energy source, three additional machines have been introduced: the Uranium Mine for extraction, the Uranium Storage for safekeeping, and the Cooling System to regulate the plant’s temperature. However, without proper cooling, the reactor can overheat - and in the worst case, lead to a catastrophic explosion. To keep your operations running smoothly, you'll need to ensure a stable and efficient cooling system at all times.

All newly introduced machines can be upgraded and boosted, unlocking even greater efficiency and strategic depth. Prepare for an exciting new challenge as you harness the full power of nuclear energy!

Improve your Skills

This season introduces abilities for the first time, giving you brand-new ways to customize your playstyle. You can upgrade these abilities with experience points at the Sorceress, allowing you to enhance your strengths strategically.

Currently Available Abilities:

• Mobility – Move faster and navigate the world with greater agility.
• Plundering – Gain more loot from monsters and chests.
• Attack – Increase your combat power and deal more damage.
• Defense – Become more resistant to enemy attacks.

Each ability has multiple tiers and effects that unlock progressively. It’s up to you to decide where to specialize so choose wisely!

Saddle Up

Players with access to our Premium+ Rank now have the ability to summon a horse anytime by performing a double jump. The moment you execute the second jump, a loyal steed appears, ready to carry you swiftly and safely across the world. Say goodbye to long journeys on foot and save valuable travel time! However, be careful! If your horse takes damage, it will disappear immediately and cannot be summoned again right away. Stay aware of your surroundings and avoid groups of monsters while riding.

For even more customization, visit the Horse Breeder in the Desert Fortress. There, you can personalize your horse’s appearance to match your style and make your steed truly one of a kind!

Other Changes & Improvements

• The Desert World has been further expanded.
• 3 new missions have been added to make the game's introduction smoother.
• NPCs can now be found in all worlds at all times.
• More detailed statistics are now available with the /stats command.
• Various price and balancing adjustments have been made.
• The leaderboard now reflects the total number of cacti collected.

What Does a New Season Mean?

Cactus Tycoon is played in seasons, allowing us to introduce major gameplay changes, create a fresh experience and a new challenge every few months.

Do I Have to Start Over?

Not entirely! As always, your statistics from the previous season will be preserved, and any gold you've collected carries over across seasons. To kick off the new season, you'll also receive a bonus of up to 2,000 gold, depending on your final ranking in the previous season. Use your gold to purchase boosters, giving you a head start and helping you unlock new content even faster!
