A new Minecraft Party rotation has arrived! We’ve updated several minigames with a strong focus on new and improved power-ups. On top of that, you can jump into a completely new minigame, explore fresh maps, and discover many more changes and improvements!
After our big coin update last year, things around Minecraft Party have been a bit quiet - a little too quiet, to be honest, and we want to apologize for that. But now it’s finally time to break that silence! With this update, we’re bringing you a fresh rotation featuring exciting new maps, a brand new minigame, plenty of new power-ups, and lots of smaller improvements along the way.
New Minigame: Memorize
In Memorize, your memory and build skills are put to the test. You’ll have to carefully study a build and then recreate it as quickly and accurately as possible from memory. First, you get 10 seconds to look at the structure. After that, the original disappears and you must try to rebuild it within 30 seconds with as few mistakes as possible. Once you’re done, simply hit the red button to stop your time.
The players with the fewest mistakes and the fastest build time earn the most points. After a total of three builds, the player with the most points wins the game. At release, you can already expect over 50 different structures that you’ll need to memorize and recreate.
Tip: Keep a close eye on the floor — there are often small hints hidden there that can help you when rebuilding the structure.
Minigame Reworked: Nether Escape
Who still remembers the (totally 😅) beloved minigame Deathcube? With Nether Escape, this classic concept returns in a brand new form! Instead of escaping from a cube made of wool, you now have to climb your way out of a volcanic shaft all the way to the surface.
Meanwhile, lava slowly rises from below and instantly eliminates anyone it touches. So don’t take too long and try to avoid falling. Otherwise your round might end sooner than expected.
As a helpful tool, you now have a pickaxe in addition to bricks, which allows you to break blocks. With a bit of skill, you can even catch the blocks you break and use them again as building material.
The winner is the player who reaches the surface first. If all players are caught by the lava, the victory goes to the player who managed to climb the highest.
Neue Powerups
The selection of power-ups in our minigames has been significantly expanded. To keep things exciting, we’ll also experiment with power-ups in future rotations and adjust the selection from time to time. Going forward, you can collect multiple power-ups in a single minigame — something that was previously only possible in Spleef. Additionally, power-ups can no longer be picked up by projectiles.
Even existing power-ups have received a visual and thematic update:
“Last Chance” is now the Chicken Glider, letting you glide down gently and controllably using a chicken on your head.
Speed Boots now stand out visually more.
The old jump boost has been replaced by Rocket Boots, which let you jump higher but break after five jumps due to limited durability.
In addition to the revamped power-ups, we’ve added several brand-new power-ups and distributed them across different minigames. They introduce new tactical possibilities and bring even more dynamic action to each round.
Boxing Glove: Deliver a powerful punch to push opponents away or, if timed perfectly, send them straight into the void.
Time Stop: Freeze the potato for five seconds, giving you an extra chance to pass it to an opponent at the right moment.
Creeper Arrows: When they hit, explosive Creepers appear, chase the hit player, and blast them into the air. They not only destroy blocks but also create strong knockback, adding additional danger.
Paint Bomb: When placed, it colors all nearby blocks according to the selected palette in Color Chaos. Anyone close to the explosion is guaranteed to make it to the next round.

Power-Ups for Horse Race
Until now, there were no power-ups in Horse Racing — but that changes with this update. From now on, you have access to various tools that can either slow down your opponents or give yourself an advantage.
Banana: Place an obstacle on the track. If another player gets too close, their horse slips and stops briefly.
Fireball: Throw it at opponents ahead of you, creating an explosion with burning fire that they’ll want to avoid.
Boost: Give your horse a short burst of speed, helping you surge forward at just the right moment.
Lightning: Shrinks and slows down your opponents. The duration of the effect depends on your current position in the race.
Monster in Too Many Items
Many Items, you can now take damage, and monsters can appear in the dark and attack you. If you die, you keep your collected items and will respawn at the starting point.
There’s now a small chance that Too Many Items takes place at night. In this case, monsters can also appear on the surface.
Starting equipment has been updated: you now receive upgraded leather armor, a sword, and a special Surface Ender Pearl, which lets you teleport from deep mines back to the surface at any time. The pearl has a 30-second cooldown, so it should be used strategically.
The winner’s collected items display has been redesigned to be clearer and easier to understand.
